Today's anatomy lesson

Taking it kind of easy today, as I realized my KB cert is Saturday/Sunday (eeee!!!) and I should maybe think about not killing myself before I get there. Plus my hands are still in iffy territory - I did one set of 10 kips last night when I got home and then realized I really shouldn't do that. A weekend full of KBs with ripped hands would be the opposite of Fun.

Buy in
  • Light TGUs (12K), 5L/5R
  • Light snatch-t0-windmills (12K), 5L/5R
Workout
5-4-3-2-1 of
  • 155# deadlifts
  • pull-ups
Deadlifts felt heavy today. I haven't done them in a while, and I've been working my posterior chain hard these past two weeks. Still, I'm starting to figure out what it really feels like to lock my back down. Cool.

Cash out
  • Light snatches (12K) x 30 (15L/15R)
These were some interesting exercises to put together. My grip hurts. (And yes, grip is a body part, as scientifically demonstrated below.)

That is a profoundly disturbing illustration. I like it!

You forgot the lats which are an integral portion of the body part "grip".
